Data & account deletion

Your data is yours. Here's exactly how to take it — or burn it.

Export everything first (optional)

In the app: Profile → Export My Data gives you a verified JSON archive of every log, photo reference and setting.

Delete by email

  • Email support@metriqbear.fit from your account email with the subject "DELETE MY ACCOUNT".
  • We verify ownership, then erase your profile, logs, photos and backups within 30 days.
  • You'll receive a confirmation email when complete.

Automatic deletion

Trial accounts that never subscribe are purged 38 days after trial start. Lapsed paid accounts are purged 13 months after subscription end — no action needed.

What deletion removes

Profile, food/water/workout/weight/steps/sleep logs, progress photos, routines, favorites and AI scan history. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may remain for service improvement.
